Day 4: Tuesday

This day moved at warp speed. We woke up, and walked around the city for a bit, especially around the walls of the old fortress.

Then we checked out of the hotel, and stomped back to the bus station. Discovered that the next direct bus to Segovia would be a couple of hours, we hopped the next bus for Madrid, and then rode to Segovia. Segovia only has one direction: up. But once you get to the top of the hill it's very beautiful.

We visited the cathedral at the top, and then went to the palace/museum/military school. Finally we went to the old Roman aqueducts. We ate chorizo at a tiny upscale restaurant, then stomped back to the bus station.

Hopped a bus to Madrid. That bus dropped us off near the Spanish "White House", Monocloa. We looked around for a bit, and then caught the subway to the bus station. Caught the bus to Burgos. Arrived there very late (about 3 am), and caught a taxi to Enrique's house. Enrique showed me some of his books (He likes a cartoon called Astarix), and then I hit the sack.
