About Me...

I am the senior sysadmin at Vanderbilt University's Advanced Computing Center for Research and Education. We have one of the fastest supercomputers in the world, so I kinda like my job. :-) I graduated from Pleasant View Christian School and went to Austin Peay and studied physics and math. I went to Wake Forest University and spent 4 years doing graduate research on black hole thermodynamics, until I figured out it was impossible to get a paying job doing it. When I'm not working or going to school (hah!), I love running, hiking, reading, working in my garden (the deer love me), playing with my dog, and curling up on the sofa and watching a good movie. |
